Even the original upstand, still present after more than a century, has been thoughtfully restored and elevated with a matching Misterio stone insert, bridging old and new without interruption.
 
Open the cupboard and the story continues. Behind its doors lies generous storage, cleverly concealed within the original structure. The proportions remain true, the integrity intact. Even the original handle survives, cleaned, restored and left exactly where it belongs, a small but powerful link to the past.
 
The finishing touches speak softly but with purpose. A single tall traditional tap in antique brass rises with confidence, paired with a coordinating waste. Their warm tones sit effortlessly against the aged oak, creating a measured conversation between eras, nothing shouts, nothing competes.
 
A clear satin lacquer protects the exterior, chosen not to mask, but to preserve. The grain, the tonal shifts, the age-earned markings remain visible and celebrated. This piece wears its history openly, with pride.
