The drawers have been fully re-engineered to offer practical, modern storage without disturbing the original framework. New antique brass button knobs provide a subtle accent, complementing the warmth of the oak while clearly signalling the piece’s updated role.
 
A three-hole traditional tap in antique brass, paired with a coordinating waste, completes the composition. The finish echoes the hardware and enhances the richness of the timber, creating cohesion across old and new elements.
 
The exterior has been treated to a walnut stain and clear satin lacquer to protect the surface while retaining visibility of grain, colour variation and age-earned markings. Nothing is hidden; everything is intentional.
